Parents in Danbury are getting ready for the new school year. The first day of classes for grades 1 through 12 is set for Tuesday, Aug. 26. Kindergarten students will start with half days from Aug. 26 through Aug. 28 before moving to full days on Aug. 29. The district calendar also includes holiday breaks, professional development days, and a tentative last day of school on June 18.
