A 70 year old Danbury woman, Vera Lucia Ribeiro-Menezes, will serve six years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple narcotics charges. Court records show that she sold drugs from her Foster Street apartment, directly across from Head Start of Northern Fairfield County. Police say she was arrested twice in April after detectives executed search warrants and found cocaine. Ribeiro-Menezes has a long criminal history, including prior arrests for drug and alcohol sales dating back to 2017.
