Date To Be Chosen For Third New Fairfield Referendum Attempt

New Fairfield will hold a third referendum for its $52.8 Million school budget and its $13.7 Million town budget after the two previous referendums were decisively turned down by the voters. The date of New Fairfield’s third budget referendum will be chosen during a special town meeting that is now set for July 11th at 7pm at the New Fairfield Senior Center. That’s when New Fairfield residents will have their say on when the vote will take place. For now, it is believed that the referendum will likely be held before the end of July.
