Ryan Reynolds kicked off the John Candy documentary tour in Ridgefield with a sold-out screening at the Prospector Theatre. The film, directed by Colin Hanks and produced by Reynolds, covers Candy’s career in classics like Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Uncle Buck. Legendary late night host David Letterman joined Reynolds and producer Dan Pasternack for the local event, the first stop on a U.S. and Canadian tour.
