Democrats held their majority on the Waterbury Board of Aldermen and the Board of Education in Tuesday’s city elections, according to unofficial results. The party won 10 of 15 alderman seats and three of five school board seats. Republicans gained one alderman seat previously held by an Independent Party member. A recount is scheduled in the 2nd District, where one vote separates two Republican candidates.
