A 23 year old Bethel man is facing multiple charges after DNA evidence reportedly linked him to a car theft in New Fairfield. Albert Sanchez-Hernandez was arrested after investigators say his DNA matched a sample taken from the steering wheel of a stolen Volvo. The vehicle was taken from a Fulton Drive driveway in December and later found totaled in Danbury. Police say a search warrant confirmed the DNA hit through the state lab. Sanchez-Hernandez is being held on $10,000 bond.
