A traffic stop on I-84 in Southeast just before midnight Sunday led to the arrest of 36 year old Irving Godoy of Danbury on DWI charges. State Police said a trooper noticed Godoy weaving through traffic and, after failing sobriety tests, arrested him. Two children, ages five and 10, were in the back seat, prompting felony charges under Leandra’s Law for aggravated DWI with a child passenger. He was released to a family member, and the children were placed with a third party. Conviction could carry up to four years in state prison.
