Ten educators were among those arrested Wednesday evening after blocking the entrance to Governor Ned Lamont’s office. The group had just finished a 20 minute meeting with Lamont, pushing for more public school funding and changes to the state’s education cost-sharing formula. After the meeting, they refused to leave, calling his response inadequate. Capitol Police made the arrests without incident.
