Bank Street in downtown New Milford was shut down Thursday as film crews rolled cameras for a new movie called Convoy. Set in the 1990s, the shoot featured vintage cars, throwback outfits, and a marquee showing hits like Good Will Hunting and The Wedding Singer. The film is said to be tied to Matchbox cars, part of a broader push by toy maker Mattel to turn its brands into films. Local police managed traffic during the one-day shoot, which by the way was the latest in a string of productions to use Bank Street as a backdrop.
