Fire crews in New Milford say a chimney fire on Sherry Lane forced three residents out of their home Tuesday evening. Crews got there around 6:48 and found heavy fire pouring from the exterior chimney. Multiple units knocked it back quickly, limiting damage. The Red Cross is helping the displaced family, and investigators are working to pin down the cause.
