A Ridgefield man is facing a first-degree larceny charge after police say he stole more than $20,000 in merchandise from Ridgefield Hardware. Investigators say surveillance video shows 48 year old Michael Pelkey taking items over several months while employed at the store. Pelkey was arrested on a warrant, and has pleaded not guilty.
