21 year old Tyler Delk, a former Sacred Heart University student, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison and five years of probation for a 2023 DUI crash that seriously injured five fellow students and an Uber driver. Delk, then 19, was ten times over the legal alcohol limit when his Audi hit a curb, entered the opposite lane, and collided with a Toyota Corolla. The crash occurred near campus on Sept. 29, 2023.
