Danbury will be handing out a grand total of $325,000 to local small businesses, courtesy of the federal government’s American Rescue Plan Act Small Business Assistance Program. The money is available to eligible businesses through August 31st. Local small businesses can apply for grants of up to $5,000 depending on needs.
Qualifying for-profit businesses must be in Danbury, have 10 or fewer employees, have less than $1.5 million of gross revenue in 2019, and be independently owned and operated. Applications are available on the city’s website, and will be accepted through August 31st.
