Girl Scouts of Connecticut to Honor 35 Gold Award Recipients This Weekend

Girl Scouts of Connecticut will recognize 35 girls earning the organization’s highest honor during a ceremony Sunday in New Haven. The annual Gold Award event means each honoree will receive an official certificate, letter and proclamation. Several scholarships will also be presented, including a $5,000 national award. The Gold Award recognizes leadership and impact in areas ranging from public safety to sustainability and STEM. Honorees come from every region of the state.
