Gov. Ned Lamont holds a 63% approval rating among Connecticut voters, ranking sixth nationwide and third among Democratic governors, according to a new poll. Lamont’s approval comes after six years marked by moderate policies, including paid family leave and a higher minimum wage. He has not yet announced if he will seek a third term next year but remains a strong favorite despite a primary challenge from Rep. Josh Elliott.
