Ridgefield has broken ground on a new school for its alternative high school and transition program. The two-story building is set to open this fall near the dog park on Prospect Ridge. It will serve about 40 students, offering life skills training and full accessibility. The $2.9 million project replaces outdated and overcrowded spaces currently used by both programs.
