The Water Witch Hose Company No. 2 will break ground Sunday morning on a major expansion of its Lanesville Road substation in New Milford. The $5 million, two-phase project will more than double the station’s size, adding over 8,000 square feet and upgrading facilities for future emergencies and growth. The station, built in 1980, will gain space for equipment, a training room, new kitchen, and accessibility upgrades.
