Hundreds of Connecticut residents found themselves without electricity Thursday amid rainy and breezy conditions. Eversource reported more than 600 outages as of 5:20 p.m., down from over 1,000 earlier in the day, with most affected customers in Simsbury and Canterbury. United with crews working to restore service. They say the number of outages fluctuated throughout the day, but power was gradually being restored.
