A new lawsuit alleges Kimberly-Clark Corp. contaminated local water, including the Housatonic River, with PFAS “forever chemicals” for decades. Filed by Silver Golub & Teitell on behalf of Minah McBreairty, the suit claims tests of her well in 2024 showed PFOS and PFOA levels far above EPA safety limits. Water runoff from a nearby landfill used by Kimberly-Clark also tested high for the chemicals. Kimberly-Clark denies the allegations and says it does not use PFAS in U.S. products. Town officials are also named in the case.
