Demolition is set to begin on a blighted building at 20 Station Road in Brookfield which has been vacant and contaminated for years. The two-story structure, formerly a dry cleaners, will be torn down starting May 5. The site will be redeveloped into a 60-unit apartment complex, with 20% of the units designated as affordable. The project follows a state grant awarded in 2022 to clean up the contamination.
