Charles Connors, a 35 year old Milford man, was sentenced to four years in prison for a 2023 wrong-way crash on Route 7 that killed 25 year old Danielle Dempsey of Danbury. Connors pleaded guilty to manslaughter and DUI, with a 10-year sentence suspended after four years, followed by five years probation. Police said Connors was intoxicated and speeding when he crashed head-on into Dempsey’s car. Family and friends called the sentence too light for the life lost.
