Newtown police continue to investigate a crash that injured several people Monday afternoon. Officers were called to Church Hill Road near Ardi Court just before 1:00 p.m. for a two-vehicle collision. Victims from both vehicles were taken to Danbury Hospital with injuries, though the extent remains unclear. The road was shut down while the scene was cleared.
