GasBuddy says the national average has dipped below three dollars for the first time in more than four years, helped by cheaper crude, strong U.S. production and softer demand. But Connecticut drivers aren’t seeing the same break. AAA lists the state’s average at $3.078 for regular, slightly higher than last year’s $3.066. Prices in Connecticut briefly fell under three dollars in March, but have since crept back up.
