New Danbury High School West Campus Eases Overcrowding At Main Building

Danbury High School’s new West Campus is already making a difference after opening in late August on Apple Ridge Road. The new facility enrolled 635 students, helping ease overcrowding at the main campus, which now has about 2,700 students — nearly 900 fewer than last year. School officials say the expansion allows smaller class sizes and more personalized learning. The West Campus also features new career-focused programs, including allied health. Meanwhile, upgrades at the main campus include modern science labs, smart TVs, and a renovated auditorium.
