A 26 year old school employee in New Fairfield is facing charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15 year old student. Christopher Fernandes was arrested after police say he had sex with the girl in his SUV following a high school basketball game back in January. He worked as a paraeducator and basketball coach. Fernandes is charged with second and fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and using a computer to entice a minor. He’s being held on $350,000 bond.
