A pair of brothers from Danbury have proposed building a four story apartment building. Scott and David Benincasa want to put up the multifamily apartment building, with a parking garage on the first floor, at 25 Church Street in New Milford. The two say their idea would mean more housing options in New Milford and it would also draw more people to the downtown area. As planned, it would include 18 separate apartments, with 6 of them being classified as affordable housing units. Otherwise, the monthly rents would be structured at the typical New Milford rent… currently about $1,500 a month for a one bedroom apartment, and about $1,800 for a two bedroom apartment.
