A 62 year old New Milford woman accused of stabbing a man with scissors has been ordered to undergo a mental competency exam. Mary Ann Cole is charged with first-degree assault after police say she attacked a man in a New Milford home last July. Officers found the man bleeding in a bathroom and Cole was found nearby, asleep and covered in blood. She remains behind bars, with bond set at $575,000. Her next court date is set for June 20.
