Next time you are driving in New York State and see a flashing green light, you better pull over. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has signed the Green Light law allowing mobile crisis response workers to use green dashboard lights when responding to emergencies. The lights are already used by volunteer ambulance crews and signal drivers to yield. New York State officials say the change will speed response times, and they remind drivers that green, blue, and red lights all require drivers to pull over immediately.
