23 year old Adam Bryan Bowditch of Sandy Hook, was arrested October 1 for risk of injury to a child, tampering with evidence, and disorderly conduct. Police have released more information about it, and they say Bowditch passed a note to an 8-year-old girl in a family locker room at the Newtown Community Center back in July. Officers recovered torn pieces of the note and a pencil described by the child. Bowditch turned himself in and has since been released on bond. A plea hearing is scheduled for December 2 at Danbury Superior Court.
