A 48 year old man from Newtown is facing multiple charges after police say he had inappropriate online communications with someone he believed was under 16. Authorities say Paul W. Melnick’s charged with enticing a minor by computer, harmful communication with a minor, and misrepresenting his age. Police say the arrest followed a complaint received last Thursday. He was held on a 75-thousand-dollar bond and was set for arraignment in Danbury Superior Court.
