Newtown Property Manager Accused Of Stealing Millions

A Newtown property manager has admitted to stealing nearly $3 million from landlords to fund a day trading addiction. 33-year-old Timothy Mingione pleaded guilty to one count of interstate transmission of stolen money. He managed properties for a group of investors and used his access to bank accounts to funnel cash into personal trades. By late 2024, Mingione had racked up over a million dollars in losses. He’s agreed to repay nearly $3 million and faces up to 10 years in prison. Sentencing is set for July.
