Newtown Salt Spa will permanently close on December 20, ending more than eight years of business, owner Katherine Hansen announced. Hansen thanked the community for support since opening in 2017 and said running the spa has been a rewarding experience. She posted the announcement online, describing the decision as difficult and expressing gratitude to loyal customers.
