51 year old Sergio Reyes-Cordero was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to moving a dead body without a permit and evidence tampering. The charges stem from the February 2024 death of 26-year-old Leah Chaparro, whose body was found in Redding. Reyes-Cordero will serve two years, followed by five years of probation.
