If you have allergies, this might be a good week to stay inside as much as possible. Pollen levels will stay high across Connecticut for much of the rest of this week as warm, dry weather sets in. Pollen counts in many areas of the state are topping 11 grains per cubic meter, just shy of the 12-point max. Maple, oak, birch, and juniper are the main culprits. Allergy experts suggest staying indoors on windy days and showering before bed to reduce symptoms.
