Most power has been restored across Connecticut after strong storms left more than 2,000 customers without electricity early Wednesday. Eversource reported about 2,100 outages at 10:30am, but crews worked through the day, dropping that number to just 43 by late afternoon. Officials say the outages were mainly caused by storm-related damage to underground equipment.
