Prosecutors in the case against 57 year old Kimberly Sullivan, the Connecticut woman who is accused of imprisoning her stepson for two decades, are asking the court to keep the victim’s new name sealed in medical records. The defense plans to fight the move, saying records should be unredacted. The victim, now 32, escaped earlier this year after allegedly being confined to a room in Sullivan’s home. He says choosing his own name is part of reclaiming his life. Sullivan has pleaded not guilty. A court hearing is set for August 19.
