State prosecutors have refiled charges against 29 year old Raul Valle following his recent acquittal in a 2022 Shelton murder case. Valle was found not guilty of murder but the jury was deadlocked on charges including manslaughter in the first degree and assault. The new charges now include manslaughter, two counts of assault in the first degree, and one count of assault in the second degree. Prosecutors have not announced if or when a retrial will take place.
