The Ridgefield Historical Society is asking for year-end donations to support its preservation work and upcoming programs marking the nation’s 250th anniversary. The nonprofit says it receives no government operating funds and relies entirely on local supporters. Board President Steven Meyers will match contributions up to $10,000 through December 31. The group maintains artifacts, restores historic buildings, and runs education programs tied to Ridgefield’s past.
