Students at Rogers Park Middle School were briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after a “small gas leak” was detected when staff fired up the kitchen. Danbury Fire Department and Eversource inspected the building, and students returned to class about 20 minutes later. School officials say minor schedule adjustments were made, but the day continued without further issues.
