Danbury Public Schools will host Space in the Community from February 9 through 13, bringing hands on space and STEM learning to students districtwide. The program is hosted by the Space Foundation in partnership with The Petit Family Foundation. Students will study NASA’s Artemis mission and meet retired Navy Capt Winston Scott, a former NASA astronaut with two Space Shuttle flights and multiple spacewalks. A student mentor event is set for February 10 at Danbury High School, followed by a free community night at Western Connecticut State University.
