Utility crews are making steady progress restoring power across Connecticut after a powerful nor’easter became the state’s first official blizzard in eight years. Eversource says more than 23,000 outages had been restored by midday Monday, with about 12,000 customers still without power statewide as of late yesterday. Utility crews from across the region, including out of state, remain deployed as restoration work continues and could take several days in some areas.
