Some Danbury High School classrooms were pretty cold, all thanks to a broken pipe on Thursday. Workers were busy replacing parts in the school’s heating system, and that created a three hour delay in the opening time yesterday morning. Space heaters were placed in the coldest classrooms, but staff members and students both said even with the space heaters, some rooms were uncomfortably cold. The repairs were originally scheduled for Saturday but they were moved up and done yesterday instead.
