Flags To Be Lowered In Honor Of Former First Lady

In accordance with a national proclamation, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has directed that all flags here in the state be lowered as a mark of solemn respect for the memory of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, beginning at sunrise on Saturday until sunset on Wednesday, November 29th. The proclamation specifies that since no flag should fly higher than the U.S. flag, all other flags, including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise, should also be lowered during this same duration of time.
