Families Network of Western Connecticut, Inc. in Danbury, has received a $5,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation to support the 2024 Spanish language cohort of the Parent Leadership Training Institute. While PLTI has not been offered in Spanish in Danbury since 2015, it has been around in Danbury since 1998, and so far it has graduated 451 Parent Leaders. The PLTI initiative is a 20-week civics and democracy curriculum, and this grant will enable them to serve this large and growing segment of our local population. For more information, CLICK HERE
