New Apartments Questioned In Ridgefield

Ridgefield residents are voicing strong objections to a proposal for new apartments on the former Binn Animal Rescue site. The plan includes two buildings with a total of 58 units on the 20-acre property along Branchville Road. Opponents argue that the development would overwhelm the area, stressing concerns about things such as overdevelopment and loss of green space. They also worry about the impact on local wetlands and trees. The Inland Wetlands Board will continue its review of the proposal on September 12.
