In Ridgefield, police are continuing an investigation into a fatal two-car accident that occurred early Sunday morning on Ethan Allen Highway. The crash happened just before 1am and resulted in the death of 21-year-old Nathaniel McLean of Danbury, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver, 56-year-old Chaudhry Shouq, also from Danbury, was taken to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries. There has been no update on Shauq’s condition. Authorities are seeking witnesses to the accident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ridgefield Police Department.
