Condo Fire In Danbury

Danbury firefighters rescued five residents and a cat from a fire at a condominium on Triangle Street Wednesday afternoon. The fire broke out in Building B just after 3pm, with heavy smoke coming from a third-floor balcony. One person was carried to safety, while a family of four and their cat were rescued from another balcony. The fire was contained to one unit, but two other condos suffered water damage. The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents, and the fire marshal is investigating the cause. No injuries were reported.
