It’s happening in many other states at a fast clip… Here in Connecticut, if you want to change parties before our state’s Presidential Primary, you have to do so before January 2nd… next Tuesday. The Presidential Primary here in Connecticut will be held on April 2nd. According to state law, voters who switch party affiliation must wait three months before voting as a member of their new party. If you do so after Tuesday, you will not be allowed to vote in the upcoming Democrat or Republican primaries which this time around are four weeks earlier than they were previously held.
