New Welcome Signs Promote Connecticut

New “Welcome to Connecticut” signs have been installed at seven major entry points along the state’s borders, including on I-95, I-84, and I-91. Each sign highlights a unique feature of the Nutmeg State, such as its renowned pizza, world-class meals, and top-tier manufacturing. Governor Ned Lamont says the signs are more than just markers; they’re symbols of state pride and invitations to explore Connecticut’s offerings. Notably, signs on I-95 and I-84 entering from New York declare Connecticut as the “Pizza Capital of the United States,” a title officially recognized earlier this year.
