An investigation into drug dealing by Danbury police led to the arrest of a Waterbury man who was caught selling illegal drugs in Bethel. 26-year-old Sharef Mahan of Waterbury… according to investigators… went to a residence on Garella Road in Bethel, where he then sold drugs to someone… all as detectives watched the whole thing happen after having been tipped off earlier that Mahan was dealing in drugs all over the Greater Danbury area. When he was searched after being cuffed, Mahan was found to have Fentanyl, powdered cocaine, crack cocaine, an electronic scale, and unexplained cash.
